Caleb established Cequent Projects in 2008. Prior to that, he was Project Director and one of three major shareholders of a leading Australasian Project Management company, Carson Group SI Limited.
Caleb has delivered a range of high profile, complex projects over the last 17 years. These include the delivery of three concurrent hotel projects, and the construction of the Christchurch Art Gallery.
Coming from a strong commercial property valuation and finance background, Caleb has particular expertise in the early initiation and planning, and strategic definition of projects. He has excellent people skills. Caleb is a member of the Property Council of New Zealand, and is a Project Management Professional PMP (USA).
Lincoln is an expert in stakeholder communication and cost management. He has the ability to select and manage diverse teams of consultant disciplines to work on projects, while at the same time mitigating risk. Lincoln’s track record includes project managing developments ranging from $2.5 million to $8 billion in both New Zealand and Singapore.
Lincoln knows the trade from the inside out, having started off as a qualified carpenter. He became a Project Management Professional PMP (USA), and has added qualifications in Finance and Greenmark (Singapore MDIS & BCI).
Ben is a hands on Project Director with an enviable track record for delivery of high profile and complex projects both in New Zealand and the UK. He is a highly motivated individual who strongly believes in working as a team to achieve a common goal and always strives to add value.
Bens experience across a range of sectors and project types gives him an excellent understanding of the best way to setup projects for success and how to get the best out of the team. He has particular strengths in the planning and implementation of complex construction works where he excels in managing project risk to ensure time, cost and quality aspirations are not compromised.
Will is a vastly experienced Project Director with great communication and technical skills. He has over 14 years of experience in design and multi-discipline project management in New Zealand, UK and the Middle East.
Will is a chartered engineer with a strong technical background in civil and buildings projects. This includes a diverse range of project experience including hospitality, healthcare, aviation, residential and commercial.
Will is a strong project leader and a strategic thinker with a history of delivering complex projects.
Daniel is a motivated team leader with multi-faceted project experience. He has a wide knowledge of the construction sector having completed a degree in Building Science to compliment his background in carpentry. This gives Daniel a unique perspective as a Project Director.
He has the ability to see the big picture and manage risk, whilst understanding how buildings come together.
Daniel enjoys combining his practical skills along with a strength in developing bespoke solutions for projects. His willingness and ability to share his knowledge makes him a committed team player who knows how to get the best out of the team he works with.
Mathew is a project manager with wide ranging commercial experience. He has worked on complex new builds and apartments to large-scale hotel refurbishments..
A natural problem solver, Mathew has excellent interpersonal skills and an enthusiasm to get the job done. He is particularly good at aligning a project team to a common goal, and is comfortable operating in environments with executives and construction workers alike.
Jo brings a wealth of project management experience to Cequent. In particular, she has a passion and real expertise in the heritage and conservation sector. She has set up, overseen and delivered a range of projects of varying complexity in Christchurch. Jo is a skilled communicator at all levels, and approaches all business matters with strong integrity and professionalism.
Prior to joining Cequent, Jo was an Assistant Project Manager for one of Australasia’s leading project management companies.
Simon is an outgoing and highly motivated person who enjoys collaborating with others. He is adept at building effective working relationships. Simon joined Cequent in May 2013, and has grown to be a highly valued member of our team.
Simon prides himself on accurate analysis of current issues, effective consultation, and creative problem solving. He also takes a pragmatic approach to seeing projects through to a successful conclusion.
Lucy has construction in her blood. She comes from a highly respected local building family, growing up with the trade. Lucy joined the team in October 2012 as a Junior Project Manager. She has a degree in building science, which has provided her with a sound understanding of the construction industry, and an in-depth knowledge of modern building technologies, design, and architecture. Her knowledge of embodied energy issues and green construction techniques makes Lucy a go-to staff member if our clients have an interest in pursuing a green build. She has a collaborative style, developing strong relationships with the teams she works with.
Lucy’s experience ranges from various projects in the Christchurch City Council Greenspace portfolio to commercial fit-outs and refurbishments.
Michael is a smart, self-sufficient and highly motivated Project Manager.
He understands how buildings come together, having trained as an architectural draughtsman and had experience working for a contractor.
Since joining Cequent in June 2016, Michael has been exposed to a variety of unique and challenging projects - ranging from complex Port Hill demolitions, repairs and upgrades of category 1 heritage buildings - through to new retail and office construction.
Michael is proactive when working independently or with a diverse range of peers. With strong communication and interpersonal skills, he is a valuable member of the Cequent team.
Jack joined our team during June 2017. He has a strong engineering background developed in the UK, having started out as a mechanical design engineer. Prior to joining Cequent, Jack held a range of leadership and management roles in varied environments across Australasia. He has a strong construction knowledge, having worked as a site manager for two of the largest construction companies in New Zealand.
Jack is solutions driven, enthusiastic and a motivated team man, with an eye for detail. He brings with him strong communication skills and a sound understanding of modern health and safety management.
He is a real asset on any project he works on.
Ali has a background in accounting and finance management and has combined these skills with her love of organising other’s, to manage the day to day operations of our Christchurch office. She also assists our regional managers and clients, as well as overseeing the Company’s accounting function.
Nic is a professionally qualified Project Manager with experience across projects in New Zealand, the UK and Afghanistan.
Nic’s competencies include development feasibility and hands on construction management. His passion is leading with clear communication to deliver successful outcomes for our clients. This intrinsic motivation helps guide Nic's decision making and project commitment.
Kez has over 10 years Project Management experience in both Great Britain and New Zealand.
Her experience spans the full project life-cycle from developing the brief, design management, engaging contractors, managing budgets and variations, through to site and construction management. Kez has also covered a wide range of asset classes including commercial office blocks, apartments, community facilities, retail and industrial buildings.
Malcolm is an ambitious emerging professional in the construction industry who is passionate about creating inspiring working and living environments that enhance the daily lives of New Zealanders.
His roles have allowed him to work collaboratively and autonomously with clients, consultants and contractors to deliver multiple projects within the required cost, time and quality constraints. Malcolm’s most valuable attributes are as a proactive team player, with excellent communication skills and an eye for both detail and bigger picture. He thrives on opportunities where he is able to approach complex projects with a fresh perspective and a positive attitude. These attributes combined with his practical experience in project management, along with knowledge gained through the Bachelor of Building Science program at Victoria University ensure he is a valuable project team member.
Nicki started with Cequent in 2014 and brings with her over 16 years administrative experience in both New Zealand and the UK. Her current team role is Executive Assistant and Marketing Manager.
Nicki enjoys the buzz of the industry and using her skills to collaboratively support the team.
