The Imperial - 79 Lichfield Street
Cequent Projects were engaged to project manage the revitalisation of the former Frontrunner building on Lichfield St. This building had sat empty for a number of years. The revitalisation project was completed within 12 months and included a full resource consent for a new façade and two associated kiosk pavilions in the car park - to create a continuity to the street frontage.
The project involved a complete strip out of the building back to a bare super structure. The building was then seismically strengthened to 100% NBS. The building now has a new, modern façade, new services and lift, with the addition of a large exterior mural by local Christchurch artist Anton Mogridge.
Cequent Projects also recently completed their own fitout in the building and relocated to the new office during February 2018.
The building is currently out for tenancy and will involve integrated fit outs for various corporate and small business tenants. It is a bright, modern space with common areas with new cafe and food services on site.
Cequent are really proud to have been involved in the successful revitalisation of this character building.
