Halswell War Memorial
The memorial sustained minor damage in the February 2011 earthquake, with minor cracking throughout the stonework. The restoration also saw the memorial cap sealed to prevent water ingress, the iron chains restored and a new light installed to illuminate the plaque. Stonelay were the contracted stonemasons.
A small re-dedication ceremony was held on 22 March 2016 wgere the newly installed lighting was turned on for the first time.
