Cequent provided project management services which covered the entire project lifecycle from design to completion of this 2,000m2 office fitout.
The package included a base build works for the Landlord (Henshaw Goodman), and an extensive high-end tenant fitout for Westpac New Zealand. Cequent managed the output from the design consultants and prepared a clear tender document in order to procure the construction phase. The excellent tender documentation resulted in receiving construction prices well below the value expected.
Specific processes and procedures were set up by Cequent in order to mitigate construction noise on the project. This was due to the existing Westpac call centre remaining in operation within the building while the construction phase was undertaken. These processes and procedures were a major success story on the project and allowed the Westpac call centre to remain operational throughout the project.
During the construction phase numerous base-build issued where encountered which required remedial works. Cequent managed to proactively work with the contractor to complete these works alongside the initial scope of works with minimal program extension.
Cequent managed a well demarcated scope of Landlord and tenant works which resulted in both parties receiving exceptional value for money for their portion of works.
